Val's graduation...

finally, the day has come that Val is graduated from her SG polytechnic..and i am so thankful for God's provisions over the years....

8th may ---- a mix of grieving and comfort...

In the midst of sadness over the GE2011,.. a little gift from my kids to wish me a Happy Mother's day which brings a little comfort to me........
Days ahead will be tough, especially for the younger generations with fierce competition from the foreign kids that the government bring in... No one can help us except God....

our Big sis

we have a birthdae bash for our dear big sis last friday....
Cant express enough my gratitude for her support in all these years...

I remember during those early years when i fostered my young children to her...
it was the toughest time for me .. Picking them up on fridays and sending back to her on sunday nights.. Without fail, she will tell me to stay back for dinner before i leave .. Looking back, i just wonder how i got those years over with me.... I thank God for the strength..Before i know Him, he already knew me... and thank you for such a Big sis i got.. for better and for worse, i know she is with me :)

found a long lost friend.......

Its amazing when you found someone that you have lost contact for 30 years!!!
Yea..its really a long long time.... so many things to catch up in our lives....
especially mine..its like a drama :) ! Hope i can find another one... a fiend lost contact for 30 years as well......where we both work in lucky plaza klasse.....

Shanghai.....

Even thou....i dont like shanghai..but i must admit that Shanghai has the best nite scene... the skyscrapers are neatly space out and the lights are just too beautiful for your to ignore.....
And indeed, we have a wonderful time in the evening... visited this place name 田子坊...
nice pubs and restaurants.. surely will come here again if i have another biz trip to shanghai ...

last dae of Feb ..

last day of Feb was celebrating our youngest sis bdae...
we have peranankan food this time.. and we all love the durian chendol the best..and thats not end of the party before we have our lychee martini and black label...:).... gone is Feb..... and heres come march... stop eating, stop drinking and start exercising.... :K

Celebrating the last day of cny with these gals...Again we eat and talk, talk and eat... Indeed, really have a wonderful time and enjoying every bit of it !!

A special Valentine's gift.....

Was a really a surprise to see this on my study table... Thank God for val and tim even though sometimes, we quarrel and argue over little things... But i know they love me...and i cant stop loving them either..... Praise God for all things.....

Another cny gathering for 'lo hei'

Another round of cny gathering and this time is at my humble place....
thou is rather small but all just get used to it....

Bought another bunch of lilies and added some roses too.... flowers really do jest up the place..... hope after the upgrading of the lift landing floor, i can start looking for a bigger place..

Young man at home....

we went to this german restaurant at vivo city to celebrating his 18th's birthday... very nice pork knuckles and saugages served and prices are reasonble too ....
And Look at his boyish grin, cant believe he is 18 !!

CNY at home

simple decorations for this year cny... but the white lilies and the traditonal stuff are a must at home...
i just love the scent that lilies give out, it energize me.... :)
