finally...he plays on the stage !!

i am so proud to see timmy with his electric guitar on the stage... i think this is he first performance in public.. all this time, he learns to play the instrument from the internet... but most of all, i think he has the paternal genes... they are all very good in music!! Well, more jamming sessions for him i suppose, but that will be after the exams period :)

look at this lovely foto taken at the korean booth at natas... we could not stop laughing when we putting on those winter jackets to post for this one... however, we are not going anywhere this dec...except for third sister.. she is going to taiwan with her hubby as they have a 1k voucher from ctc... the fare are just too expensive for dec !!!!

so no tokyo or goldcoast.... maybe we back to tiger mountain :)

another year........

thank God for i am another year older, and hope i am wiser...
wisdom is one of the thing i pray for my self each time.... i really need that very much for every single matter...

thank God for the teens, as they grow up, they mature in many ways.....

thank God for my siblings and friends... without them, i don't know where i will be now....

thank God for the furbies, they make me continue to love and love more......

and most of all, thank God for all the provisions, your mercy and your kindness......

Yippppeeeeee!! the house is all air conditioned now!! i am sure big sis will enjoy it while playing majong... cos the fan no need to follow her when we change our seats ^.^ ..

one thing down from the list now... hope i can also get these things by end of this year :-
1) change power points
2) paint the walls >> old and dirty with alot of dust and finger prints :K
3) get new curtains
4) clear timmy's room
5) clear the kitchen :K > just as messy
6) get my driving license
7) a family holiday in dec

the 1st birthdae bash of the month ^.^

indeed what a wonderful time we have last wkend with these church sisters... thats the 1st birthdae bash they given me and showered me with lovely gifts <3<3 ..... a few more dinner dates in the line this week and a session of kbox to sing our lungs out this coming weekend.... cant wait for the wkend to come again... ^.^

stupid or what !!!

i have just turned down an opportunity for a job interview... am i stupid or what !!

i really don't know. after so many sleepless nights been thinking, should i or should not... i finally come to a point to decide.. that i should not..

plain lazy, complacent with i am doing or just no guts to start new with my age ... i think i am more incline to the latter one....

almost seven yeas in this job and went through changes done to the new system to accommodate the old regime impressed me much... although the system is overly engineered and heavy. i cant deny the technology and the people that make it happen...

seeing many people leaving scare me though..but just got this feeling, the bank will do better and will be recovered soon... i hope my six sense is right and have the right attitude to hang on ...

God, am i doing right? anyway, i have just say NO.. and help me to be strong and wise with what i am doing now .....

tonight, we gave our dear Ps daphne a treat to Kbox and dinner...
this is to thank her for her guidance and service in the church..
as she will be joining her husband church starting next month.

surely, she will be missed :"(.....some nice ones taken at kbox ^.^

finally the DEED is done !!!

Finally.. the long painstaking process of transfering the flat to me is completed...
today.. i got the Deed that have only my name on it... i am so so so happy..

think this is the biggest acheivement for the 2010 !! And more importantly, we no longer having the fear of creditors coming to the flat ...

Next, is to do some renovation to this small unit... Fix a aircon in the hall will be good.. big sis will surely enjoy it while we have our regular MJ session....
rewire the whole place will be good too, some power point casing are coming off...
hmmm... what about redo the kitchen.. its rather messy right now :D

good news and bad news....

i start off with bad news ... one of the old regime colleague resigns today...i am really feeling lousy... he is the titantic captain as i see him and i have many times went up to him for help.. each time is a YES from him and things resolved smoothly.... .. one by one, the green line colleague gone....well..thats part and parcel of life,, i suppose... maybe, some day, it will be me.....


and the good news is... the long oustanding issue is finally settled after seven donkey years.... alast! the flat is mine now and thank God i heed the lawyer's advice.... and the kids are very glad with this.. i am looking forward to do some minor renovation..rewire the whole place and fix up the kitchen

Mother's day.. another reason for us to eat out...
although mum is not well... but she is still manage to join us...
she is getting weaker, the strong voice that she had is loosing power...we really worry for you... but how to help her, we really don't know..
she's stubbornly refuse to stay with anyone of us....
Right now, all i can do is to pray for God's mercy and grace ...and also, the coming appointment for her checkup,, she is willing to go ......

ah gal finally put on her braces.... looks like she will be on a soft diet for a while... no pain no gain,, once 2 years over, she will have a nice set of straight teeth....

our 14years old....

finally, today, a church bro come to remove our 14 years old air con...
it was shut down for the past 6 years due to a faulty compressor...
and both me and timmy sinus was gone as we turned it off.

While others are fixing up the air con due to hot weather, i remove them and this
also removing the fear inside me...i once dreamt that the compressor fell off to the ground !!!

maybe i will fix air con again... but not now.. i burnt a big hole after the japan trip... :K

Cant believe this....

can you imagine this 'Maiko' was me!!! i cant believe the make up, i totally cant recognized myself. Maiko is not really geisha.. Geisha kimono is very X and the headdress is different too - a lot heavier.... i can only afford for a Maiko one..and it already cost me 180SGD!!! and tats good enough for me :D

this was the second adventurous thing i done beside the very first one (travelling alone to taj mahal) and i love this Maiko dressing .. it make me feel like a bride whahaha... i will go back to Kyoto for the Yukata next time, they are beautiful too...

leaving home straight ten days was my first time. i have never went holiday without the children...but i did for this time... Indeed, not to forget to thank God for the provision and watching over the teens at home...:D

my beloved Minnie mouse sweater is back

Finally, my beloved Minnie mouse sweater is back in my arms.

i have left this sweater in Trident,Gurgaon India last year MAY !!.
only discover when i was about to board the plane back to Singapore.

I wrote them a email and they have since kept for me.

A colleague went there last week and collected it back. He told me that
my sweater already dry cleaned, ironed and put in a nice paper bag wait for
collection.

I was so touched and impressed on the serivce that Trident, Gurgaon has.

Thumbs up for Trident Guragon and i will surely want to be back there
and thank the staff personally.
