cny lion dance in office.......

i think this is the 1st time we have invited the lion dance to our office during cny period...alot of us have put up oranges and ang paos to get these lions to dance at our desks.... indeed, we all want a good and prosperous Tiger year...especially in this difficult times....some nice fotos again :D

i love only the white lilies... i bought ten stalks from the market this cny...they make my living hall full of the lilies scent.. i really love it..
i wish i can have them often...but they are expensive :K

according to the chinese almanac, today is a good day to put the decos in the house... so i did.. bought these stuff at the hongkah market.... and also the traditional food stuff like 年糕, 发糕,吉子... another thing is the pomelo but i yet to get this..
will go down to chinatown this evening to buy one and also, to have our own small reunion dinner, myself and the teens.... theres a dim-sum restaurant in chinatown that serves very good dim sum.... thinking to bring them there :D

Reunion dinner 2010

this year reunion dinner, we had it at chow kitchen at far east square...
very good cantonese/hokkien dishes in buffet style... we all love buffet style..
especially the teens.. they eat alot !!!

after dinner, we went Kbox ... i think my best number for the night was my hokkien song...>> Rose in the wind ^.^ .. i think my hokkien is getting better whahaha...

he turns 17th.......

a few more days more... timmy turns 17th... he's favourite cartoon is Spongebox, so we got him these softtoys.. Spongebox and Patrick... and he loves it.. ^.^

must thank God for everything, especially last year, was a tough year for him, having 20 hours tuition for a week and burnt all his weekends... but his labour pays off. he got a good score of 12 for last year and promoted to sec 4...

this year, we have reduced tuition to 2 subjects..and i hope he will continue to work hard so that he can get into the course he wants in Poly.... ^

i passed FTT ^^

well..2nd time on the advance theory test for driving... i was so so so nervous.. the gal sat beside me keep sighing all the way, she was so stressed up... And i made a mistake, i put the blackberry in my pocket, and it keep vibrating... some of them are office calls... but i knew i need to focus...

the questions are very tricky indeed, they are very very close.. i just need to 'tikam' for a couple of them....... i doubled check all answers and making sure they are the best choice... 5 mins before times up.. i clicked end of test... the PASSED appeared ... i was so excited....

Yeeaaaaa... i passed, cant wait to text my gal to tell her.... and also cant wait to put my butt on the driver's seat for driving lessons... ^.^

at Grace2

today, my 2nd visit to grace2....

i took the 8.25am chartered bus that pick up at the bus stop right below my flat...

i really like this timing... 9.00 am service and it ends at 10.30pm... then i will go breakfast with new church friends and also, can buy home some food for the teens while they are still snoaring away in their beds..... Get some laundry done and then i am off to lunch with my sisters at Holland drive before visiting my mum.... That will take me through til 4pm..... after that.. i can either go shopping with sisters or ended up at the mj table for a couple rounds mj ^.^...

hmmm looks like this is a good plan for the sunday .... and i hope grace2 is where i belongs to......

1st week of jan......

well, 1st real working week in the office. all my lazy bones are breaking, thats for sure..
i have been slack the whole of dec.. and guess, its time to sit rightup and start work !!

many plans are on the board now and the road show are lined up....
seems another busy year ahead, or at least i can say the 1st half.. with four countries to hv the new system on their desk tops...

travel trips for india and hk.. i am on the road again...
and not to forget, i have my final theory test month end and studying hard on the bus :K
so fingers crossed ^.^

I stayed up late last nite... but it was not i was "forced" to becos i belong to this middle age group..but rather, the new year mood just beef up and i just want to stay awake together with the rest of the world...... and what a good start with Val and tim staying in the church to countdown.....while mummy went to have drink drink down at boat quay hahah.. ....

Indeed, Youth is when you are allowed to stay up late..... val & tim come back almost 4am after having supper with some church teens...and i have already gone to my dreamland.....,

Yes, indeed, i pray a good start in the year 2010 that God 's mercy and grace upon each one of us ... pray that the teens coming back to God.. pray that we all have more love to love... i really need that..... ^.^

christmas..... families get together...

As usual, we have all the families gather together and exchange gifts.... tho some say.. christmas is not about santa claus, christmas meal and presents...but the kids are grow up with this since day one.. they all look forward to christmas as they will receive a little gift from uncles and aunties... and the special christmas meal, honey baked ham.. log cakes that you get to see only in christmas...

Now, they are all in their teens.....and hope they will continue to organzie families parties if we got old and not able to ..... Its is because of all these gatherings, our bonds are strengthen between siblings and cousins......

This evening, we have our cell group Christmas party at our pastor's home...really a very enjoyable night with carols, catching up and thank you sis suzanne brought the

WII, it was so fun.....

And also , Pastor took out a toy that some of us may not even know whats the name and how to play with it...... Its was a play thing, where we put one foot in the ring and swing the loose end that tie with a ball.. a complete round without trip will then consider good ... yeah.. a good exercise thing , i think ^.^

a nice foto take at grand park hotel... i must say the banquet is very very sumptous...the best dish was the steam red guropa..

And something i found out from this dinner was .. my timmy is actually a very sociable boy... he chatted, make fun with the other guests at the same table... And even shouted yumsheng when the related families toasting on the stage.... and val is so pretty with her extended long hair ... so feminine......

looking a these 2 kids... i just cant thank God enough in helping me to bring them up......

our kind neighbours

this couple is my neighbours.... i am so so so blessed to have them.. those early years of being my new role > a single parent have been very tough as the kids are young...they have extended help to me..... watching over them when i did my travellings, cook meals for them, like our chinese saying....看头看尾.... they are very humble people... do not know God, but they knew the God i believe will watch over us.... And, they have the kind of serving spirit where sometimes, may not find it in our own 'christians' community.....

Today, is the big day of their 2nd daughter.... so we are all invited to the wedding banquet...and take this opportunity to have some shots with them....

i have also perm mine today... so now i have very nice long curly lashes at a very good price.. and best of all , they are all my real eyelashes!! i get my galfrds there too if they want... cant wait to show them and blink blink to them .. kekeke

weighty issue

Visited this Dr Georgia Lee 's clinic in the morning... this clinic do alot of things to make you look nice or confident... but no plastic surgery involved.. it has a name for it...but i forgot...

However, the injection into the thigh to loosen fats was told to be painful...... hmmm thats really put me off... but i think the botok to remove my frown lines and make my lips fuller, firmer and kissable will be nice ..hehe

well.. weight has been a issue to me... it really affected my previous relationship and was told times again to cut down... but i am a love to eat person... i love good food .. so probably thats contributed the reason haha.. On the other hand, if the guy mind your fat body ... then something is really wrong, isnt it!! But sometimes,, i do really wish i am smaller to fit into those nice cheongsams.... i really love it.. so oriental..... so..i will try ,, ehhhhhh try lah ..^.^

celebrating Madeline's birthdae

today is madeline's birthdae...this time last year, we celebrated it in taiwan, tai ru ge...

however, this year, we did not manage to get out.. the year end airtickets are just far too expensive....

we have dinner together and sis cherie suggested to go malacca... and and we are on it next week.. just a couple of days ,, eat and shop again ^^... really really enjoy every much with them and thank God for them.... they have enriched my life....

finally... my dec holidays start....

what a long oct and nov to me....... and the toughest bit was to convince my consumer colleagues to embrace the new system... yes, indeed, they are a few flaws with the new one... but we really must learn how to let go .... the green system is my baby... i have my six years babysitting it... i close my eyes know where to fix any queries... who can feel more pain than me seeing a good system need to turn off... But thats the new owner's call, we have to realise it..... Afterall, i am just a employee, i need to to work and need to feed my four mouths.... and have to learn to love the new system...

Nevertheless, i am off for the rest of the month until christmas eve..... and i have done what i need to do and said what i needed to say.... This is end times, alot of funny things and happening in the workplace i guess....

New sofa came this morning and its really blend in with our fixtures..., majong session in the afternoon.... so i have started my holidays ^.^ ... airtickets far too expensive to get away now ..... must as well keep it for next year... yeahhhh...Hapi Holidays !! eat and shop, shop and eat !!! and grow fat whahahah

the gals helping me to put up the tree again... actually, these recent years, the teens helped me to do this .. i have literally pass this to them haha.... we hv star shape lights on the tree this year... a little pricy from ikea... but i think thats something different .. hope the lights are durable ^.^

Another outing with the whole Chan gang... this time, we go for dim sum buffet , Dragon Restaurant at depot road.... hmm not really really great..but still acceptable with the food and value... i like best is the hongkong noddle.. the noodle is moist enough and full of fragrance....
